Alyss is a self-proclaimed witch with a tendency to experiment with different kinds of magic, seeing what she can and can't do within the boundaries of her own morality. While she refuses to touch subjects such as blood magic or necromancy personally, she has researched them. "One cannot combat something they do not know," as she has said.She often has some sort of white animal with her, the creature's lavender-colored eyes seeming far too intelligent for a normal beast. Despite it sometimes being in different forms, those with aether sensitivity could swear they were all the same individual, and that it shared its aether with Alyss.... Most commonly seen are a barn owl, a cat, or a whittret.Attempts to touch or pet the creature will be met with violent resistance from both parties.Alyss, like many, has her share of secrets, but she will not share these with just anyone she meets, nor will she do so in public.She's extremely socially awkward and nervous around strangers, and especially men, but given time she will warm up to most people she meets.
